Arm Holdings PLC – ADR (NASDAQ:ARM) reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings, but issued FY26 guidance below estimates.

Arm Holdings reported quarterly earnings of 55 cents per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 52 cents. Quarterly revenue came in at $1.24 billion, which beat the consensus estimate of $1.23 billion.

“Arm delivered record-breaking results for both the fourth quarter and the full fiscal year ending 2025. We surpassed $1 billion in revenue for the first time in Q4, driven by increased deployment of our CSS platforms across AI data center, cloud compute and mobile. As AI growth from the cloud to the edge creates demand for more energy-efficient compute, Arm will enable AI everywhere,” said Rene Haas, CEO of Arm Holdings.

Arm said it sees fiscal 2026 EPS in a range of $1.56 to $1.64, versus the $2.03 estimate, and revenue in a range of $3.94 billion to $4.04 billion, versus the $4.91 billion analyst estimate.

Arm Holdings shares fell 5.6% to trade at $117.09 on Thursday.

Coinbase Global (NASDAQ:COIN) could show the company’s leadership in the cryptocurrency ecosystem with first-quarter financial results after market close Wednesday.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect Coinbase to report first-quarter revenue of $2.13 billion, up from $1.64 billion in last year’s first quarter, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

The company beat analyst estimates for revenue in the last reported quarter, while beating estimates in eight of the last 10 quarters overall.

Analysts expect Coinbase to report first-quarter earnings per share of $2.12, up from $1.65 in last year’s first quarter. The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in eight straight quarters and eight of the last 10 quarters overall.

What Analysts Are Saying: Rosenblatt analyst Chris Brendler recently warned that “crypto winter” could be underway and it could hurt momentum for Coinbase stock.

The analyst said sentiment on crypto has reversed with “sharply rising macro concerns.”

Brendler reiterated a Buy rating on the stock while lowering the price target from $305 to $290.

The analyst said Coinbase’s trading volumes in March were likely lower than expected. Brendler sees a rebound in crypto-related trading activity in the second half of 2025.

“In our view, legislative clarity will accelerate blockchain technology adoption and COIN will be a primary beneficiary,” Brendler said.

Goldman Sachs analyst James Yaro sees a balanced risk/reward for Coinbase heading into the earnings report. The analyst took over coverage of Coinbase at Goldman Sachs after the stock was previously covered by Will Nance.

Yaro gave Coinbase a Neutral rating and a $195 price target.

With pure-play exposure to the cryptocurrency sector, Yaro sees long-term growth for Coinbase as the crypto ecosystem expands.

“We are cautiously optimistic on COIN, but see a balance of upside and downside risks,” Yaro said.

Yaro highlights a positive regulatory environment for crypto that could support Coinbase’s growth, but also be a negative.

“Longer-term, regulatory reform could increase the crypto TAM, but also bring in competitors from across financial services. Competition could pressure COIN’s market share and pricing over time.”

Key Items to Watch: Analysts and investors will be looking at many items in Coinbase’s earnings report with the price of Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) trading strong in January before falling in March.

Transaction revenue was up 172% quarter-over-quarter in the fourth quarter. This could be a key item to show whether Coinbase continues its leadership in the cryptocurrency ecosystem and also if traders were active in the first quarter with Donald Trump inaugurated and high volatility during the quarter.

Subscription and services has been a bright spot for Coinbase in recent quarters, bringing the company high-margin recurring revenue. Subscription and services revenue of $641 million in the fourth quarter was up 15% quarter-over-quarter and came in ahead of company guidance. The company is guiding for first-quarter subscription and services revenue in a range of $685 million to $765 million.

Bitcoin made up 27% of both trading volume and transaction revenue in the fourth quarter. This was down from 37% and 35% respectively, in the third quarter. The new quarterly results will show if Bitcoin regained its dominance or saw lower activity due to other cryptocurrencies.

XRP Token (CRYPTO: XRP) could be another item to watch after making up 14% of transaction revenue in the fourth quarter and seeing strong demand from Coinbase users.

COIN Price Action: Coinbase stock is down 0.7% to $195.47 on Wednesday versus a 52-week trading range of $142.58 to $349.75. Coinbase stock is down 21.4% year-to-date in 2025 and down 8.9% over the last year.

The drop in Coinbase’s stock price comes with Bitcoin up 3.1% year-to-date and up 54.5% over the last year.

Uber Technologies, Inc (NYSE:UBER) reported fiscal first-quarter 2025 results on Wednesday. The company reported a quarterly revenue growth of 14% year-on-year to $11.53 billion, missing the analyst consensus estimate of $11.62 billion.

Uber reported adjusted EPS of 83 cents, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 50 cents.

The stock price declined after the report.

Revenue from Mobility grew to $6.5 billion, up 15% Y/Y. Delivery was $3.78 billion, up 18%, and Freight was $1.26 billion, down 2% Y/Y.

Gross Bookings grew 14% Y/Y to $42.82 billion. Mobility Gross Bookings of $21.18 billion, up 13% Y/Y; Delivery Gross Bookings of $20.38 billion, up 15%; and Freight Gross Bookings of $1.26 billion, down 2% Y/Y.

Trips grew 18% Y/Y to 3.04 billion. Uber’s Monthly Active Platform Consumers reached 170 million, up 14% Y/Y.

Uber clocked an Adjusted EBITDA of $1.87 billion, up 35% Y/Y, driven by Mobility. The Adjusted EBITDA margin as a percentage of Gross Bookings was 4.4%, up from 3.7% Y/Y.

Uber held $6.0 billion in unrestricted cash and equivalents and generated $2.3 billion in free cash flow as of March 31, 2025.

CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO said it continue to build towards the future, including five new autonomous vehicle announcements in just the last week.

CFO Prashanth Mahendra-Rajah told Bloomberg that the strengthening of the U.S. dollar against Brazilian, Mexican and Argentine currencies created an “outsized headwind” for its rides business.

Uber’s U.S. rideshare business, which accounts for more than half of its profitability, was hit by the Los Angeles fires and extreme winter weather. Rising insurance costs took a toll in some of its markets. Additionally, U.S. consumer confidence was affected by concerns over higher prices and the economic outlook amid the Trump administration’s escalating tariffs.

Outlook: Uber expects fiscal second-quarter 2025 gross bookings of $45.75 billion-$47.25 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $2.02 billion-$2.12 billion.

Price Action: UBER stock is down 3.40% at $82.91 premarket at the last check on Wednesday.

Online used car seller Carvana Co (NYSE:CVNA) could continue stock momentum with a strong first-quarter financial report when the company reports after market close Wednesday.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect Carvana to report first-quarter revenue of $3.98 billion, up from $3.06 billion in last year’s first quarter, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

The company has beaten analyst estimates for revenue in four straight quarters and six of the last 10 quarters overall.

What Analysts Are Saying: An improving leverage ratio and the paying down of debt saw Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas upgrade Carvana stock from Equal-Weight to Overweight in March.

The analyst raised the price target from $260 to $280, while highlighting upside growth in EBITDA margins and retail unit growth.

“Carvana’s performance is particularly impressive when compared to its auto retailing peers who have struggled to grow used volumes this year,” Jonas said.

The analyst said Carvana only has 1% market share of the U.S. used car market and is just now approaching its prior peak retail unit volumes, which were met back in 2021 and 2022.

Jonas called Carvana a “potential Amazon of auto retail.”

Piper Sandler analyst Alexander Potter said Carvana is better insulated than competitors on tariff risks. The analyst said that while macro uncertainty remains, Carvana can “grow aggressively” in the used car market.

Potter upgraded the stock from Neutral to Overweight with a $225 price target at the time.

Bank of America analyst Justin Post recently reiterated a Buy rating on Carvana with a $220 price target.

The analyst brushed off concern from Amazon.com Inc entering the used car space. Post said Amazon’s move could benefit the entire online used car sector.

JPMorgan analyst Christopher Horvers lowered estimates for Lowe’s Companies Inc. (NYSE:LOW) ahead of the company’s first-quarter earnings release on May 21.

The analyst says that based on the industry analysis and data insights, he is cutting first-quarter comparable sales estimates to -2.7%, below the Street’s consensus of -1.7% and the broader buyside expectations (a decline of 2% to 3.5%).

Horvers writes that Lowe’s experienced a more significant headwind from unfavorable DIY weather conditions earlier in the quarter and has underperformed Home Depot more recently, even as weather conditions improved.

The analyst notes that Lowe’s previously guided to a -2% comp for the first quarter and roughly flat comps for the first half, anticipating a ~$400 million shift of spring sales into the second quarter.

While Lowe’s faces easier weather comparisons in the second quarter (lapping “one of the worst weather backdrops in 30 years”), the analyst is slightly lowering second quarter comp estimates to +2% (from +3% previously).

This adjustment reflects the first quarter’s underperformance relative to management’s expectations, the uncertain weather outlook, and some underlying softness in the business, the analyst adds.

Further, the analyst estimates first quarter EPS at $2.87, compared to the Street’s $2.91.

Given the expectation that Lowe’s will miss its first quarter outlook and considering its positioning relative to Home Depot on tariffs, the analyst anticipates Lowe’s to adjust its full-year guidance towards the lower end of flat comparable sales and around a 12.3% operating margin.

The analyst expects the company will reiterate confidence in managing tariffs and safeguarding margins in a less favorable scenario.

LOW Price Action: Lowe’s shares are down 0.94% at $223.07 at publication on Tuesday.

Waldencast PLC (NASDAQ:WALD) is scheduled to report its first-quarter results on May 13, after the market close.

The company is likely to miss margin and earnings expectations, according to Telsey Advisory Group.

The Waldencast Analyst: Analyst Dana Telsey maintained an Outperform rating and price of $5.

The Waldencast Thesis: The company could report in-line sales, but adjusted EBITDA of $8.2 million, missing current consensus of $10.3 million, due to margin of 12.0% coming in below expectations of 15.1%, Telsey said in the note.

“Within the topline, we look for 14% YoY growth at Obagi and a 13% YoY decline at Milk,” she added.

Revenue growth was projected to be flat year-on-year due to “challenging prior year compare and retail partner inventory adjustments,” the analyst stated.

Waldencast expects revenue growth to gain momentum as the year progresses, “driven by its innovation pipeline and continued distribution expansion, including the launch of Milk Makeup in Ulta Beauty stores in 1Q25,” she wrote.

Waldencast is likely to have relatively less exposure to tariffs than its peers, Telsey further stated.

WALD Price Action: Shares of Waldencast had tanked by 2.55% to $2.65 at the time of publication on Tuesday.
