As investors increasingly turn towards stable income streams amid market volatility, Domino’s Pizza, Inc.’s (NASDAQ:DPZ) forthcoming earnings report has caught the spotlight, not just for its potential impact on share prices, but also for its enticing dividend offerings.

Domino’s Pizza will release earnings results for the second quarter before the opening bell on Monday, July 21.

Analysts expect the pizza company to report quarterly earnings at $3.96 per share, down from $4.03 per share in the year-ago period. Domino’s Pizza is projected to report quarterly revenue of $1.14 billion, compared to $1.1 billion a year earlier, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

On July 10, Morgan Stanley analyst Brian Harbour maintained a rating of Overweight for Domino’s Pizza and raised the price target from $510 to $514.

With the recent buzz around Domino’s Pizza, some investors may be eyeing potential gains from the company’s dividends. As of now, Domino’s offers an annual dividend yield of 1.48%, which is a quarterly dividend amount of $1.74 per share ($6.96 a year).

To figure out how to earn $500 monthly from Domino’s Pizza, we start with the yearly target of $6,000 ($500 x 12 months).

Next, we take this amount and divide it by Domino’s $6.96 dividend: $6,000 / $6.96 = 862 shares.

So, an investor would need to own approximately $404,019 worth of Domino’s Pizza, or 862 shares to generate a monthly dividend income of $500.

Assuming a more conservative goal of $100 monthly ($1,200 annually), we do the same calculation: $1,200 / $6.96 = 172 shares, or $80,616 to generate a monthly dividend income of $100.

Note that dividend yield can change on a rolling basis, as the dividend payment and the stock price both fluctuate over time.

The dividend yield is calculated by dividing the annual dividend payment by the current stock price. As the stock price changes, the dividend yield will also change.

For example, if a stock pays an annual dividend of $2 and its current price is $50, its dividend yield would be 4%. However, if the stock price increases to $60, the dividend yield would decrease to 3.33% ($2/$60).

Conversely, if the stock price decreases to $40, the dividend yield would increase to 5% ($2/$40).

Further, the dividend payment itself can also change over time, which can also impact the dividend yield. If a company increases its dividend payment, the dividend yield will increase even if the stock price remains the same. Similarly, if a company decreases its dividend payment, the dividend yield will decrease.

DPZ Price Action: Shares of Domino’s Pizza rose by 0.7% to close at $468.70 on Thursday.

U.S. stocks settled higher on Thursday, with the S&P 500 surging to a fresh closing record during the session.

U.S. retail sales rose 0.6% month-over-month in June, topping market expectations of a 0.1% increase. U.S. export prices increased 0.5% month-over-month in June, while import prices rose 0.1% in June.

Most sectors on the S&P 500 closed on a positive note, with financial, information technology and consumer staples stocks recording the biggest gains on Thursday. However, health care and real estate stocks bucked the overall market trend, closing the session lower.

The Dow Jones closed higher by 230 points to 44,484.49 on Thursday. The S&P 500 rose 0.54% to 6,297.36, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.75% at 20,885.65 during Thursday’s session.

Investors are awaiting earnings results from American Express Co. (NYSE:AXP), 3M Co. (NYSE:MMM) and Schlumberger Ltd. (NYSE:SLB) today.

PepsiCo raised its full-year 2025 adjusted earnings per share (EPS) guidance from $7.92 to $8.04, exceeding the Street estimate of $7.88.

On the economic data front, the Producer Price Index was flat in June, down from a 0.3% gain in May and below the 0.2% consensus forecast. On a year-over-year basis, producer prices rose 2.3%, the slowest pace since September 2024 and softer than the 2.5% economists had expected.

Shares are trading around $87.41, comfortably above their eight-, 20-, 50-, and 200-day simple moving averages, a classic bullish indicator that suggests the trend is favorable, despite selling pressure indicating caution ahead.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 59.90, indicating that the stock has momentum without being overbought. At the same time, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) stands at 2.65, confirming strengthening momentum and reinforcing bullish sentiment.

Earnings Expectations Soar, But Headwinds Remain

All eyes are now on United’s after-market release, with Wall Street forecasting earnings per share of approximately $3.77 on revenues of nearly $15.35 billion, according to Benzinga Pro data. The travel industry just got a boost after Delta Airlines Inc. (NYSE:DAL) reported a strong quarter – its positive outlook and easing fuel costs triggered a sector-wide rally, lifting the stock by more than 14%.

As Bitcoin rebounds back to $119,000, spot Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) ETFs saw a net inflow of $403 million on Jul. 15, marking the ninth consecutive day of positive flows, according to data from SoSoValue.

Spot Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) ETFs also recorded a net inflow of $192 million, extending their own streak to eight days.

What Happened: The cumulative inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs have now reached $53 billion, while Ethereum ETFs have gathered $5.7 billion.

The total assets under management for US spot Bitcoin ETFs stand at $149.6 billion, representing 6.4% of the total Bitcoin market cap.

Ethereum ETFs hold $14.2 billion, accounting for 3.8% of the Ethereum market cap.

The renewed inflows into flagship ETFs come at a time of heightened institutional activity and a shift in the broader crypto narrative.

“Bitcoin broke out toward a new all-time high above $120,000, propelled by fresh institutional flows,” said Javier Rodriguez-Alarcon of XBTO in a note sent to Benzinga.

He noted that capital remains concentrated in the top market-cap assets, even as broader altcoin participation lags.

Bitcoin has gained over 30% year-to-date, surpassing gold as the best-performing asset so far in 2025.

The rally, analysts say, is being led by steady institutional buying rather than retail-driven speculation.

Fiscal concerns, including President Donald Trump‘s $5 trillion debt ceiling hike, have boosted Bitcoin’s status as a macro hedge.

Ethereum, meanwhile, has surged more than 15% over the past week.

The momentum appears to be driven by speculation surrounding potential ETF approvals that would enable staking, transforming ETH into a yield-bearing asset.

Why It Matters: Despite these inflows, concerns remain.

Tom Bruni, Editor-in-Chief at Stocktwits, pointed out that crypto investors may not fully understand the implications of “Crypto Week” legislation.

“Companies and investors are moving forward with or without it,” Bruni noted, citing strong ETF performance and market resilience.

The House failed to pass a procedural bill that would have enabled votes on key legislative packages including the GENIUS Act, CLARITY Act, and the Anti-CBDC Surveillance Act.

“The market was clearly pricing in progress during Crypto Week,” said Mike Cahill, CEO of Douro Labs. “When key bills stalled, it introduced a wave of uncertainty—especially for institutional participants.”

Meanwhile, Greg Magadini of Amberdata said, “Bitcoin has been a large benefactor of macro trends,” but added that ETH is now gaining momentum as staking-enabled ETFs and stablecoin utility on Ethereum-based rails gain interest.

As ETF flows continue to drive institutional interest, the upcoming Trump administration’s Digital Asset Task Force report expected on July 22 and the Federal Reserve’s meeting on July 30 are being closely watched for further macro and regulatory catalysts.
