Richard Branson has done it again…
Sir Branson’s latest venture is Virgin Voyages, a cruise line that’s scheduled to begin operations in 2020. Virgin Voyages is officially open for charter bookings departing from April 1–October 25, 2020.
Branson recently celebrated WorldPride in New York City. He announced that a new LGBTQ+ charter will be included in the Virgin Voyages cruise offerings. It sets sail on May 31, 2020.

Embarking from Miami, the seven-night cruise will commence on the Scarlet Lady, Virgin Voyage’s first custom-built cruise ship. The sustainably built ship features various health and wellness venues, 9+ upscale restaurants, and 5 live music venues including the Voyage Vinyl record store, and a karaoke bar.
Virgin Voyage’s Beach Club in Bimini
The cruise will make stops in Florida (Key West), Mexico (Cozumel & Costa Maya), and Bimini, Bahamas — home of Virgin Voyage’s Beach Club, a private club for exclusive members.
The Virgin Voyage’s Beach Club in Bimini is the centerpiece for all Virgin Voyage charters. The beach club was designed by EOA, Inc., and features modern design and earth tones throughout. It’s located a short transfer away from the pier. It overlooks the ocean with an expansive property that stretches from a large lagoon-style swimming pool to the sea.
Virgin Voyages is the New ‘Rebellious Luxe’
In a February press release, Tom McAlpin, President and CEO of Virgin Voyages, stated, “At Virgin Voyages we are going beyond just great design, to defy and redefine luxury to be rebellious luxe. This new luxury is about knowing you are taken care of, that you’re never being nickel and dimed, and what you want, even some of the things you didn’t know you wanted, are already taken care of for you.”
