The investor group will buy 100% of EA, with PIF rolling over its existing 9.9% stake, in a record all-cash sponsor take-private deal. The company’s stock gained around 17% over the past month and has a 52-week high of $203.75.

Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) is adding to the living room experience with a brand-new lineup of party games.

This holiday season, viewers can transition from watching Kpop Demon Hunters to engaging in games with friends and family—all without leaving Netflix. The company is introducing a fresh way to enjoy gaming, designed to be as simple as streaming a show.

All that’s required is a Netflix subscription and a phone. The new games include popular titles like LEGO Party!, Boggle Party, Pictionary: Game Night, Tetris Time Warp, and Party Crashers: Fool Your Friends.

Netflix stock gained over 36% year-to-date topping the Nasdaq 100 index’s (which includes Netflix) 20% returns. The streaming giant is expanding its gaming efforts with the launch of mobile games based on its popular series, including updates for “Squid Game: Unleashed” as the third season of the show premieres.

The updated “Squid Game: Unleashed” will introduce more ways to play and be available on Chromebooks and large-screen Android devices, marking a first for Netflix’s gaming offerings.

“Squid Game” season two set a record on Netflix, garnering 68 million views in its first week in December.

Meanwhile, Fortnite joins the “Squid Game” craze by introducing themed locations and interactive games like “Red Light, Green Light”.

Netflix is experiencing strong subscriber engagement, according to Alicia Reese of Wedbush Securities. Speaking on Bloomberg TV on Thursday, Reese called the company’s retention for the second quarter “shockingly strong.” Many users who previously canceled the service have returned, he says.

Despite price hikes, especially in the Premium Tier, Reese highlighted that user stickiness remains high with the new ad-supported tier. She attributed much of the strong retention to Netflix’s content recovery. Titles like Squid Game and WWE programming are key drivers for bringing back subscribers, he says.

Reese also credited the ad-supported tier for reducing churn.

PepsiCo Inc (NASDAQ:PEP) aims to silence analysts who are lowering the stock’s price target and an activist investor pushing for changes when it releases third-quarter financial results Thursday before the market close.

Here are the earnings estimates, what experts are saying about the beverage giant, and the key items to watch.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect PepsiCo to report third-quarter revenue of $23.83 billion. Benzinga Pro data shows $23.32 billion in last year’s third quarter.

The company has beaten analyst estimates for revenue in three consecutive quarters. It also exceeded analyst estimates in seven of the last 10 quarters overall.

Analysts expect PepsiCo to report third-quarter earnings per share of $2.26, down from $2.31 in last year’s third quarter. The company beat analyst estimates in the second quarter and has beaten estimates in nine of the last 10 quarters overall.

What PepsiCo Experts Say

“PepsiCo shares remain under pressure,” Freedom Capital Markets Chief Market Strategist Jay Woods said in his newsletter.

PepsiCo stock has underperformed Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO) year-to-date. That’s among the reasons why Woods said Pepsi needs to “deliver more than just a decent quarter,” he adds.

The market expert said Pepsi faces pressure that includes Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s attack on processed foods, pressure on margins, weaker innovation relative to peers and a tough environment for consumer goods.

“It would help to see a surprise on margins, slow innovation momentum and, most importantly, offer confident guidance. Pepsi needs to reenergize investor confidence as price action has been flat for the last three years.”

Woods said the $145/$146 level is what to watch heading into earnings. The market expert said a short-term rally could take shares to $156.

“Long-term we may be in the midst of a turnaround as well. This should take longer to play out – give it another quarter, maybe two – but could bode well for the longer-term investor.”

Bank of America Securities analyst Peter T. Galbo says PepsiCo remains a “defensive” play due to its strength in the beverages and snacks sectors.

Galbo maintained a Neutral rating on PepsiCo with a $150 price target.

The analyst said PepsiCo is likely to deliver steady returns to investors, balancing growth with dividends and share buybacks.

Pepsi’s report comes after activist investor Elliott Investment Management announced a $4 billion stake in the beverage company and a push for changes.

Among the proposed changes from Elliott are spinning off the North American bottling operations, cutting underperforming brands, reducing manufacturing costs, planning a new strategy, and focusing on core brands to regain market share.

The push for changes comes with PepsiCo stock trailing Coca-Cola and the company also losing market share in the U.S. soda sector, with the Pepsi brand now ranking fourth in U.S. sales, trailing Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper and Sprite.

Pepsi recently announced an agreement with Celsius Holdings (NASDAQ:CELH) that will expand the beverage giant’s distribution.

Investors and analysts will be looking to hear how the partnership is helping Pepsi in the non-carbonated soda market.

Another area to watch will be the company’s international markets. CEO Ramon Laguarta highlighted the company’s strong momentum for international in the second quarter, with International Beverages up 3% year-over-year and Europe, Middle East and Africa sales up 8% year-over-year.

“We will continue to build upon the successful expansion and growth of our international business and accelerate initiatives to improve our North America business performance,” Laguarta said at the time.

The company raised its full-year earnings per share guidance after second-quarter results. Analysts and investors will be watching to see if guidance gets raised again.

PEP Price Action: Pepsi stock is down 1% to $139.32 on Wednesday, versus a 52-week trading range of $127.60 to $177.50. Pepsi stock is down 8.4% year-to-date in 2025. The company trails the 7% year-to-date return of rival Coca-Cola, which reports its quarterly results on Oct. 21.

What Experts Are Saying: Recent earnings reports have been favorable for Delta Air Lines stock, according to Freedom Capital Markets Chief Market Strategist Jay Woods.

“Delta earnings reactions have been stellar in 2025, but the stock keeps stalling and descending after results,” Woods said in a weekly newsletter.

The market expert noted that Delta’s recent quarters have yielded strong results and raised outlooks, but the stock has declined due to concerns about its main cabin economy business.

“In January, the stock snapped an eight-quarter losing streak as shares jumped 9% following its earnings report. They experienced even larger gains over the next two quarters. In April, shares rose 23.4% and last quarter the stock jumped another 12%.”

Woods said another earnings surprise and confident guidance would be “the ingredients to break out and climb higher.”

After flipping $124,000 into support, Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) faces its biggest question yet: can ETF demand rewrite the script on past inflow tops?

Bitcoin Turns $124,000 Wall Into New Launchpad

Technical Analysis: Bitcoin broke decisively above the $120,000–$124,000 ceiling, flipping a key resistance into support. 

Daily candles now close above the 20, 50, and 100-day exponential moving averages, stacked between $113,000 and $118,000.

The 200-day EMA at $107,500 remains a long-term safeguard, but traders see the $124,000 level as the line that will decide whether momentum extends toward $145,000.

ETF Inflows Hit $1.2 Billion As Wall Street Piles In

ETF flows drove the move. Data from Sosovalue showed $1.2 billion in net inflows as reported on Monday, according to Bloomberg, with BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (NASDAQ:IBIT) capturing $970 million.

That pushed IBIT close to $100 billion in assets under management, making it BlackRock’s most profitable ETF.

The scale highlights Wall Street’s growing role in bitcoin trading. 

But history complicates the picture: previous $1 billion inflow days in March, November, and July each coincided with local tops.

On-Chain Data Splits Traders On Next Move

Exchange netflows for Oct. 7 showed a negative balance of about $78 million, according to Coinglass, suggesting holders are pulling coins off exchanges. 

This is typically read as a vote of confidence in long-term storage.

However, the combination of heavy ETF buying with thinning exchange liquidity raises the possibility that price is being driven more by short-term speculation than broad organic demand.

Why It Matters

Bitcoin’s break above $124,000 is more than a clean resistance flip. 

It coincides with ETF inflows pushing liquidity at the same time exchange balances fall, creating a technical setup where supply is vanishing as demand concentrates.

This alignment of thinning spot supply with record ETF accumulation has not appeared in previous cycles.

If price holds above the 20, 50, and 100-day EMA cluster while ETFs continue to absorb supply, it could signal a structural shift in how breakouts sustain.

Rather than a short-term rally, the market may be testing whether Bitcoin can establish $124,000 as the launchpad for the next major leg higher.

Beer company Constellation Brands Inc (NYSE:STZ) has become a new favorite of Berkshire Hathaway Inc (NYSE:BRK)(NYSE:BRK) with the Warren Buffett-led conglomerate adding the stock in recent quarters. The company expects to report second-quarter results on Monday after the market closes.

The company missed analyst estimates in the first quarter, but beat analyst estimates in six of the last 10 quarters.

Analysts expect Constellation Brands to report second-quarter earnings per share of $3.38, down from $4.32 in last year’s second quarter.

What Analysts Are Saying: Analysts have been lowering their price targets on Constellation Brands ahead of the quarterly results.

Bank of America Securities analyst Peter Galbo lowered his price target from $182 to $150. The analyst also downgraded the stock from Neutral to Underperform.

Beer consumption is soft, he says. That could hurt the company’s sales and margins.

“Compounding this slowing consumption are more difficult 3Q YoY compares,” Galbo said. Also, there’s pressure on the company’s core Hispanic demographic.

• Goldman Sachs: Maintained Buy rating, lowered price target from $196 to $168

Key Items to Watch: Constellation Brands has become a favorite of Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway. The conglomerate disclosed a stake in the company in the fourth quarter of last year and has added to the position multiple times.

In the first quarter, the stake was disclosed as being up by 114%. In the second quarter, the stake increased by 12%.

The third quarter disclosure could reveal another increased stake. Right now, Berkshire Hathaway owns 13.4 million shares worth $1.9 billion, according to data from CNBC. While Constellation Brands represents only 0.6% of the Berkshire Hathaway investing portfolio, the stake is good for around 7.6% ownership of the beer company.

The stake by Buffett and company could signal that shares are undervalued and see more investors watching for signs of a rebound in the quarterly sales figures, margins and guidance.

Constellation Brands stock has been hit by fear of the impact from tariffs with Mexico among the countries targeted by President Donald Trump.

Benzinga recently reported that Constellation’s Modelo Especial beer lost its title of being the bestselling beer in America. The beer brand took the title from Bud Light in 2023 and has now lost the crown to Michelob ULTRA.

Anheuser-Busch InBev’s gain comes from Constellation seeing weaker demand for Modelo Especial in recent months. Hispanic buyers are buying less beer due to higher prices, a weak job market, and immigration concerns, according to CEO Bill Newlands. Hispanic buyers reportedly account for around half of Constellation’s beer business.

Constellation previously lowered its full-year guidance earlier this year, with net beer sales expected to decline 2% to 4%, compared to a previous range of flat to a gain of 3% year-over-year. Analysts and investors will be looking to see if guidance has improved.

STZ Price Action: Constellation Brands stock is down 2.4% to $138.75 on Monday versus a 52-week trading range of $131.20 to $247.63. Constellation Brands’ stock is down 37.7% year-to-date in 2025.
