Home improvement retailer Home Depot Inc (NYSE:HD) could provide a gauge for home buying and choosing to refinance and repair when the company reports fourth-quarter financial results Tuesday before market open.

Here are the analyst earnings estimates, what experts are saying and key items to watch.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect Home Depot to report fourth-quarter revenue of $39.14 billion — up from $34.79 billion in last year’s fourth quarter, as reported by Benzinga Pro.

The company has beaten analyst estimates for revenue in one straight quarter and six of the last 10 quarters overall.

Analysts expect the company to report earnings per share of $3.00 in the fourth quarter. That’s up from $2.82 in last year’s fourth quarter. The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in more than 10 straight quarters.

What Experts Are Saying: Home Depot’s recent financial results haven’t done much to move the share price, Freedom Capital Markets Chief Global Strategist Jay Woods said in a weekly newsletter.

“Investors are hoping that slowing new home sales and higher mortgage rates lead to more home renovations that will help the company’s bottom line. Over the last four quarters results have barely oved the needle. The range has varied between -1.28% and +1.23%,” Woods said.

The market strategist said Home Depot stock is not in an ideal technical setup with a head-and-shoulders top formation.

In January, JPMorgan analyst Christopher Horvers said Home Depot has an advantage to rival Lowe’s Companies (NYSE:LOW) ahead of fourth-quarter financials.

“We believe HD is likely to outcomp LOW in 4Q,” Horvers said.

The analyst highlighted consumer trends, technology and the company’s acquisition of SRS Distribution as reasons for preferring Home Depot.

“HD continues to lead in terms of adopting technology to drive in-stocks and inventory productivity.”

Key Items to Watch: Same-store sales and revenue per visitor will be key metrics and come as a recent report from Placer.ai showed visitors to both Home Depot and Lowe’s down on a year-over-year basis in the fourth quarter.

For Home Depot, visits were down 2.6% year-over-year in 2024 with a 3% decline during the fourth quarter.

Lowe’s saw visits down 3.7% year-over-year in 2024, but recovered more in the fourth quarter with a 2.2% decline.

The Placer.ai report showed that Mother’s Day, Memorial Day and Black Friday are the three busiest days for the home improvement retailers. Black Friday, which falls in the fourth quarter, had 79.1% more visitors for Home Depot than their daily average.

This data shows that customers may be waiting for sales on these holidays to go to the retailers. Data showed Home Depot and Lowe’s had fewer return customer visits in the fourth quarter.

Home Depot’s third quarter saw sales growth of 6.6% year-over-year with comparable sales down 1.3% and customer transactions down 0.2%.

The company highlighted engagement for seasonal goods and outdoor products. With the fourth quarter having some seasonal challenges in certain markets, analysts and investors will be looking for commentary on what the highlights were for the company.

Home Depot raised its full-year sales outlook after the third quarter.

Analysts and investors will be hoping for more color on what’s anticipated in the next fiscal year.

Home Depot’s results and share reaction could have a trickle effect to Lowe’s, which reports quarterly results one day later on Wednesday.

ETFs that track the Dow Jones Industrial Average, like the SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF (NYSE:DIA), could also be volatile with Home Depot’s report.

The company is the fourth largest holding in the Dow Jones Industrial Average due to its share-price weighting.

Price Action: Home Depot stock trades at $383.66 versus a 52-week trading range of $323.77 to $439.37. The stock is down 1.2% year-to-date and up 3.3% over the last year.

Lowe’s shares are down 3.7% year-to-date and up 2.7% over the last year.

Both stocks trail the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust, which tracks the S&P 500. That ETF is up 2.8% year-to-date and up 18.8% over the last year.

Electric vehicle company Rivian Automotive (NASDAQ:RIVN) will likely highlight its improving profitability and upcoming R2 launch when the company reports fourth-quarter financial results after market close Thursday, Feb. 20.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect Rivian to report fourth-quarter revenue of $1.40 billion, up from $1.31 billion in last year’s fourth quarter, according to Benzinga Pro data.

The company missed analyst revenue estimates in the third quarter, but has beaten estimates in six of the last seven quarters.

Analysts expect the company to report a loss of 65 cents per share in the fourth quarter, an improvement from a loss of $1.36 in last year’s fourth quarter.

The company has missed analyst estimates for earnings per share in three of the last four quarters, while beating the estimate in seven of the last 10 quarters overall.

Rivian’s losses have improved in recent quarters. Here are the quarterly earnings per share losses to date in the current fiscal year:

• First Quarter: -$1.24
• Second Quarter: -$1.13
• Third Quarter: -$0.99

The company guided that it expects to reach positive gross profit in the fourth quarter with higher revenue per unit and improved fixed costs per unit after its third-quarter financial results.

Key Items to Watch: Rivian previously reported fourth-quarter deliveries of 14,183, which was the company’s second highest quarterly total.

The company also finished 2024 with 51,579 deliveries.

All eyes will likely be on Rivian’s 2025 guidance and commentary as the company works through a plant shutdown in the second half at its Normal, Illinois facility to prepare for the production of the R2 SUV.

The highly anticipated R2 is expected to be a focal point, as its starting price of around $45,000 could position Rivian in more direct competition with Tesla and other automakers. Currently, Rivian’s vehicles are priced at higher tiers.

R2 production is expected to begin in the first half of 2026. Rivian could comment on the number of reservations it has for the vehicle and how the timeline for production is progressing.

Another area to watch will be Amazon’s electric deliver vans. The company previously had an exclusive deal with Amazon to deliver 100,000 vehicles by 2030. With over 20,000 vans delivered, Rivian has been a key partner with Amazon.

Rivian is also taking orders from other companies after ending its exclusive deal with Amazon. Investors and analysts would love to hear if any companies have signed deals or taken deliveries other than Amazon.

Another item to watch could be commentary on Rivian’s $6.6 billion federal loan for its Georgia manufacturing facility. The loan is now facing pressure from President Donald Trump’s administration, which counts rival CEO Elon Musk (Tesla) as a key figure.

Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe has brushed off concerns that the current administration could hurt the electric vehicle sector. However, any indication that federal funding might not materialize could rattle investors, as it would hinder Rivian’s efforts to strengthen profitability.

RIVN Price Action: Rivian stock is down 3.3% TO $13.95 on Wednesday versus a 52-week trading range of $8.26 to $18.96. Rivian stock is up 6.1% year-to-date in 2025 and down 11.5% over the past year.

Retailer Walmart Inc (NYSE:WMT) looks to maintain its title of “World’s largest retailer” when the company reports fourth-quarter financial results before the market opens on Thursday, Feb. 20.

Here’s a look at the analyst estimates for the quarters, what experts are saying and key items to watch.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect Walmart to report fourth-quarter revenue of $180.25 billion, up from $173.39 billion in last year’s fourth quarter, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

The retailer has beaten analyst estimates for revenue in more than 10 straight quarters.

Analysts expect the company to report earnings per share of 64 cents, up from 60 cents per share in last year’s fourth quarter.

The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in four straight quarters and nine of the last 10 quarters overall. The lone quarter without a beat in that stretch saw the company meet estimates.

Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) recently reported fourth-quarter revenue of $187.79 billion. Analysts expect Walmart to come in shy of that total, which could see the company lose its crown as the top revenue earner on a yearly basis and the top retailer soon if trends continue.

What Experts Are Saying: Walmart’s quarterly earnings report will likely be one of the biggest of the week, according to Freedom Capital Markets Chief Global Strategist Jay Woods.

“Walmart will be in focus as investors are eager to see if they can keep their remarkable run going,” Woods said in a weekly newsletter. “They have traded higher after the last four quarterly reports and after 8 of the last 10.”

The market strategist said Walmart is “the bellwether when it comes to discount retail.”

“Any shift from them could speak volumes to the impact of inflation.”

Woods said Walmart shares are in a technical uptrend with the stock traded at or above its 50-day moving average for more than a year.

“So for it to jump higher may take one heck of a beat.”

Woods said long-term holders of the stock should “hold on and enjoy the ride,” while short-term traders might see it tough to chase the stock.

Data from Placer.ai shows Walmart had 1.1% visitor growth in 2024 on a year-over-year basis. The company is also starting 2025 with strength with visits up 3.0% year-over-year for the month of January.

Walmart sees a larger portion of shoppers with lower household incomes than rival Target, according to Placer.ai. The retailer also sees a higher rate of repeat monthly visitors than Target, which could be thanks to more grocery options.

Analysts have been bullish on Walmart stock ahead of the quarterly earnings with raised price targets.

Key Items to Watch: Walmart raised its full-year guidance after third-quarter results and investors will be closely monitoring to see if those figures are missed, met or beat.

Analysts and investors will also be looking for guidance for the next fiscal year. This could determine how Walmart stock trades after the financial results.

Ecommerce sales is another area investors will look at. Third-quarter ecommerce sales are up 27% year-over-year as the company sees growth for its store-fulfilled pickup, delivery and marketplace growth.

The company’s Sam’s Club brand is also seeing strong growth in recent quarters. Third-quarter same store sales are up 7.0% year-over-year. Placer.ai data showed Sam’s Club having 4.8% visitor growth year-over-year for the 2024 year.

In February, Walmart announced some employee consolidation with the cut of corporate jobs and relocations to other states. The company’s headcount and any comments on future job cuts is another area to watch.

WMT Price Action: Walmart stock trades at $103.85 Wednesday versus a 52-week trading range of $57.60 to $105.30. Walmart stock is up 15.4% year-to-date in 2025 and up 77% over the last year.

Used car online retailer Carvana Co (NYSE:CVNA) looks to keep its streak of profitability and analyst beats intact when the company reports fourth-quarter financial results after market close Wednesday.

Here’s a look at the earnings estimates from analysts and key items to watch.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect Carvana to report fourth-quarter revenue of $3.31 billion, up from $2.42 billion in last year’s fourth quarter, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

The company has beaten analyst estimates for revenue in three straight quarters and five of the last 10 quarters overall. Meeting the analyst estimate would mark four straight quarters of revenue of $3 billion or more.

Analysts expect the company to report fourth-quarter earnings per share of 29 cents, up from a loss of $1.00 per share in last year’s fourth quarter. The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in three straight quarters and seven of the last 10 quarters overall.

The company has reported a profit per share in three straight quarters with 64 cents per share, 14 cents per share and 23 cents per share reported in the last three quarters respectively. The company previously reported quarterly losses per share.

Key Items to Watch: Momentum continues to be strong for Carvana, which has been one of the hottest turnaround stocks in recent years and also the subject to multiple short reports.

The stock saw a boost in its share price after Hindenburg Research announced it was closing shop with Carvana one of Hindenburg’s last-ever short report targets. Kerrisdale Research also announced a short report a year ago.

Carvana’s financial results and commentary could see the company take a victory lap against short sellers and call them out with improving profitability and financials.

A recent EV Trends Report from Carvana saw a leadership position in the used vehicle market with 5.7% of its used vehicles sold being electric vehicles, compared to 1.3% for the overall used car market.

Carvana could highlight this report and its growing presence in the electric vehicle market.

Analysts have been bullish on Carvana in recent months. In January, RBC Capital upgraded the stock from Sector Perform to Outperform highlighting a “remarkable turnaround” for the company in 2024.

Analyst Brad Erickson increased the Carvana price target from $270 to $280 and said analyst estimates might not be reflective of the company’s growing market share.

“We raise our estimates ~4% ahead of Street for Q4 and ~2% for 2025, and could still wind up overly-conservative,” Erickson said.

Erickson also said the retail marketplace could be a meaningful driver of unit growth over time for Carvana.

Carvana sold 108,651 vehicles in the third quarter, up 34% year-over-year. This will likely be one of the key figures for the company along with its revenue and earnings per share. Carvana also reported a significantly higher profit per vehicle in the third quarter on a year-over-year basis, which is another key item for investors to watch.     

Shares of Carvana traded under $10 in May 2023 and under $5 in January 2023. The company faced investor concerns about potential bankruptcy in 2022 and 2023 due to its debt obligations.

Some investors recognized a potential turnaround and others saw a potential short squeeze with a high level of shares shorted due to the bankruptcy concerns.

The company restructured operations and debt and took on the task of turning things around.

Management is bullish on the company’s future in the highly fragmented used cars sector.

“With just 1% share in an enormous market, significant capacity to support growth, and a business that generates positive feedback as it scales, we are just getting started,” Carvana CEO Ernie Garcia said after third-quarter results.

CVNA Price Action: Carvana stock was down 0.3% to $284.53 on Tuesday. The stock hit new 52-week highs of $291.27 earlier in Tuesday’s trading session. The stock is up 42.6% year-to-date in 2025 and up over 449% in the last year.

Sports betting and iGaming company DraftKings Inc (NASDAQ:DKNG) could provide updated guidance after a Super Bowl outcome that may have been favorable to the sector when the company reports fourth-quarter financial results Thursday after market close.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect DraftKings to report fourth-quarter revenue of $1.43 billion, up from $1.23 billion in last year’s fourth quarter according to data from Benzinga Pro.

The revenue estimate would mark a record for the company and come after DraftKings missed analyst estimates for revenue in two straight quarters. The company has beaten revenue estimates in seven of the last 10 quarters.

Analysts expect DraftKings to report a loss of 15 cents per share in the fourth quarter, down from a profit of 29 cents in last year’s fourth quarter. The company has been profitable in four of the last six quarters.

While DraftKings missed revenue estimates in recent quarters, the company has a streak of beating analyst earnings per share estimates in 11 straight quarters.

What Analysts Are Saying: A new investor note from Bank of America calls Super Bowl LIX good for the sportsbooks like DraftKings.

While Super Bowl LIX won’t factor into the fourth-quarter results, the big NFL event could factor into 2025 guidance and forward-looking commentary from the company.

“Big Game = Big win for the birds and the books,” Bank of America said.

GeoComply, which verifies bettors locations, said reporting activity was up 14% year-over-year for Super Bowl LIX. Betting handle in New Jersey was up 19% year-over-year.

“We think the ability to grow double-digits during the biggest event of the year is impressive and could help assuage concerns of slowing handle.”

Sportsbooks also benefitted from the Super Bowl LIX outcome according to the Bank of America note. As Benzinga previously reported, sportsbooks favored an outcome where the Eagles won and the over/under was under 48.5 points. While the point total hit the over, the Eagles won the game, ending many future bets on a Chiefs three-peat.

Sportsbooks may have also benefitted from player props with Saquon Barkley and Travis Kelce not getting touchdowns as two of the most bet on anytime TD players.

Bank of America estimates that Super Bowl LIX could add $20 million to $25 million of EBITDA to DraftKings for fiscal 2025.

The report said that DraftKings led the sports betting sector for downloads on Super Bowl Sunday and new download share.

While the report points to several positives for DraftKings, analysts at Bank of America see headwinds from higher taxes in some states and a lack of regulatory certainty on new state legalizations.

“Despite the solid start to 2025, we don’t expect DKNG to raise their FY guidance given regulatory uncertainty.”

Bank of America analyst Shaun Kelly has a Buy rating and $54 price target on DraftKings.

• TD Cowen: Maintained Buy rating, lowered price target from $55 to $51

Key Items to Watch: DraftKings fourth quarter includes the months of October, November and December, which is prime NFL season for bettors.

The company already announced an adjustment to its 2024 guidance due to some unfavorable periods of outcomes for the sportsbook that favored bettors for NFL games.

Investors and analysts will be looking to see how the final figures came out for the quarter and how much of an impact NFL favorites winning so many games had on the sportsbook.

Guidance for 2025 and positive commentary on Super Bowl LIX will likely be the items that could move the stock after earnings.

DraftKings could also share more color on how other sports outside of the NFL are performing and what the next few months without football could mean.

DKNG Price Action: DraftKings stock is up 3.5% to $28.69 on Wednesday versus a 52-week trading range of $28.69 to $49.57. DraftKings stock is up 3% over the past year.

Cryptocurrency company Coinbase Global (NASDAQ:COIN) could highlight record profitability and user metrics when the company reports fourth-quarter financial results after market close Thursday.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect Coinbase to report fourth-quarter revenue of $1.83 billion, up from $953.8 million in last year’s fourth quarter, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

The revenue estimate would mark the highest quarterly total for Coinbase since the fourth quarter of 2021 if the company hits the figure. This would also mark four straight quarters of revenue of $1.2 billion or more.

Coinbase missed analysts revenue estimates in the third quarter, but has beaten estimates in seven of the last 10 quarters overall.

Analysts expect Coinbase to report fourth-quarter earnings per share of $1.71, up from 51 cents per share in the fourth quarter. The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in seven straight quarters.

Coinbase has reported profitability in four straight quarters and a profit in the fourth quarter would make each quarter in 2024 profitable.

What Analysts Are Saying: A surge in crypto asset prices and trading volumes in the fourth quarter could help Coinbase’s financials, HC Wainwright analyst Mike Colonnese said in a new investor note.

The analyst reiterated a Buy rating and raised the price target from $255 to $330.

“President Donald Trump’s re-election in early November proved to be a shot in the arm for the crypto industry, as the event catalyzed a massive rally in digital asset prices and trading volumes in 4Q24,” Colonnese said.

The analyst said Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) hit all-time highs in the fourth quarter along with spot trading volumes hitting records in the quarter. U.S. Bitcoin ETFs had net inflows of over $16 billion in the fourth quarter, the analyst added.

Coinbase is the custodian of many of the U.S. Bitcoin ETFs.

Colonnese also said Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) had “strong gains” in the fourth quarter, up 28% quarter-over-quarter.

Colonnese said Coinbase is likely to be a beneficiary from the fourth quarter’s record in spot volume for centralized exchanges, which surpassed previous all-time highs set back in May 2021.

“Our revised 4Q24 revenue and earnings estimates are now above consensus forecasts, as we expect Coinbase to deliver a top and bottom line beat this Thursday after the close.”

He raised fourth-quarter estimates and fiscal 2025 estimates on the heels of the record quarter and new White House administration.

Colonnese’s 2025 revenue estimate goes from $5.3 billion to $7.3 billion. His 2025 earnings per share estimate goes from $2.77 to $8.29.

Key Items to Watch: Among the key items to watch will be commentary on what President Donald Trump and the new White House administration means for the cryptocurrency sector and the company.

The company acknowledged the 2024 election as one of its biggest upcoming catalysts the last time it reported quarterly results. With Trump now sworn in as president, the company could provide more bullish color on what this means.

Bitcoin hit all-time highs after the election and the fourth quarter will likely see many records for Coinbase due to a surge in prices and trading volume.

Investors and analysts will also be looking for color on how January performed with more all-time highs for Bitcoin hit and Trump officially sworn in.

Another item to watch could be on the company’s international expansion. Coinbase recently announced its registration as the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United Kingdom. Coinbase also recently received regulatory approval to launch in Argentina.

COIN Price Action: Coinbase stock is up 2.1% to $272.45 on Wednesday versus a 52-week trading range of $137.13 to $349.75. Coinbase stock is up 85% over the last year.

For comparison, Bitcoin is up 95% over the last year.

Robinhood Markets (NASDAQ:HOOD) stock is up significantly over the last year, a trend that could continue if the company reports a strong fourth-quarter earnings report Wednesday after market close.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect Robinhood to report fourth-quarter revenue of $920.41 million, up from $471.0 million in last year’s fourth quarter, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

The company missed estimates in the last quarter, but has beaten analyst estimates for revenue in six of the last 10 quarters.

The revenue estimate would be a company record and would put the company back on track for quarter-over-quarter increases after the third quarter broke a trend of recent consecutive increases.

Analysts expect the company to report fourth-quarter earnings per share of 43 cents, up from 3 cents per share in last year’s fourth quarter.

The company has been profitable in five of the last six quarters and has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in eight of the last 10 quarters.

Key items to Watch: Robinhood’s third-quarter results missed the key revenue estimate from analysts, but otherwise had several positive items like funded customers up one million and investment accounts up 1.5 million. Assets under custody and net deposits also saw strong growth in the third quarter.

Investors and analysts will be hoping that Robinhood can report strong growth in these areas and also beat the headline revenue and earnings per share estimates for the fourth quarter.

Another key area to watch will be Robinhood’s Gold subscribers, a key growth item from the company that provides recurring revenue. The company added 860,000 Gold subscribers in the third quarter to a total of 2.2 million subscribers.

Robinhood recently introduced Robinhood Legend, which could get some mentions during the quarterly results and be a key item to watch.

The company’s fourth quarter also saw the release of 2024 election contracts, which had hundreds of thousands of contracts traded. The results could show how big of an impact this quick launch had for the company.

The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in three straight quarters and eight of the last 10 quarters overall. The other two quarters the company didn’t beat estimates, the results were in-line with analysts.

Analysts expect Coca-Cola to report fourth-quarter revenue of $10.68 billion, down from $10.85 billion in last year’s fourth quarter.

The Atlanta-based company has beaten analyst estimates for revenue in 15 straight quarters, according to Benzinga Pro data.

What Analysts Are Saying: Piper Sandler analyst Michael Lavery said Coca-Cola has attractive and sustainable growth drivers. In an investor note last month, he highlighted the North America and Latin America regions for seeing strong growth that can be sustainable over the long term.

Lavery initiated coverage on the stock with an Overweight rating and a $74 price target, which was later revised down to $73 later in January.

The analyst said the North America and Latin America regions still have a large percentage of their populations that do not drink commercial beverages, offering an expansion opportunity.

Rising incomes in emerging markets along with population growth could be long-term drivers for “sustainable volume and pricing gains,” Lavery said.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect Amazon to report fourth-quarter revenue of $187.3 billion, up from $170.0 billion in last year’s fourth quarter, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

The company has beaten analyst estimates for revenue in eight of the last 10 quarters, including the most recent quarter.

Analysts expect Amazon to report fourth-quarter earnings per share of $1.49, up from $1.00 in last year’s fourth quarter. The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in eight straight quarters including nine of the past 10 quarters.

Guidance from the company calls for fourth-quarter revenue to be in a range of $181.5 billion to $188.5 billion. Amazon expects operating income to be in a range of $16 billion to $20 billion in the fourth quarter.

What Analysts Are Saying: Benchmark analyst Daniel Kurnos said Amazon should report strong fourth-quarter results with the main concern being operating income margins.

The analyst maintained a Buy rating and raised the price target from $215 to $265.

“We are largely in line with consensus across the board for the print itself and would be surprised if there were not some upside on every metric based on a combination of ecommerce vs. offline channel gains,” Kurnos said.

The analyst said there is a risk that operating income margins could be weak, which comes based on the company’s guidance.

“Even with the threat of tariffs and ongoing inflation headwinds, we see minimal risk to Amazon’s top line results given perceived strength in underlying essential item sales growth plus gains in delivery, advertising, and AWS.”

Bank of America analyst Justin Post maintained a Buy rating with a $255 price target recently.

The analyst sees Amazon reporting strong quarterly results thanks to fulfillment and headcount leverage, along with the AWS segment getting a boost from AI contribution.

Automotive giant Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) could highlight how the new White House administration is changing focus on business lines when the company reports fourth-quarter financial results after market close Wednesday.

Earnings Estimates: Analysts expect Ford to report fourth-quarter revenue of $43.25 billion, up from $43.21 billion in last year’s fourth quarter according to data from Benzinga Pro.

The company has beaten analyst estimates for revenue in two straight quarters and eight of the past 10 quarters.

Analysts expect Ford to report earnings per share of 33 cents, up from 29 cents per share in last year’s fourth quarter. The company has beaten analyst estimates for earnings per share in one straight quarter and five of the past 10 quarters overall.

Key Items to Watch: With Ford’s earnings report and commentary, most eyes will be on how President Donald Trump is impacting the company’s decisions.

The proposed removal of a $7,500 federal tax credit for electric vehicles could be bad news for companies like Ford that have transitioned to making more EVs.

Ford currently loses money on its electric vehicle segment and the removal of the tax credits could see fewer people buying EVs or Ford needing to offer additional incentives.

In the third quarter, Ford Model e sales were down 33% year-over-year, while the segment had an EBIT loss of $1.2 billion.

Ford said at the time that it anticipated the Model e segment to have a full-year EBIT loss of $5 billion, compared to EBIT profits of $9 billion for Ford Pro and $5 billion for Ford Blue.

The automaker had strong EV sales in the U.S. in 2024 with a report saying the Mach-E ranked third with 51,745 units sold, up 26.9% year-over-year. The F-150 Lightning ranked sixth in the U.S. for EVs with 33,510 unit sales, up 38.7%. Both vehicles moved up the top 10 list with the Mach-E going from fourth to third and the F-150 Lightning going from eighth to sixth.

Ford had the second-highest market share in the U.S. for EVs at 7.5% in 2024, trailing only Tesla (48.7%) and ranking ahead of third place Chevrolet (5.2%).

Along with the potential end of the EV federal tax credit proposed by Trump, the company is also at risk of seeing its profit margins hurt if the president goes through with threats of tariffs on Mexico and Canada.

Ford produces vehicles and vehicle parts in both countries as a way to make its vehicles more affordable. If tariffs are ultimately put on both countries, Ford could be forced to raise its vehicle prices for consumers on some models or take a hit on its profit margins.

F Price Action: Ford stock is up 2.58% to $10.15 on Tuesday versus a 52-week trading range of $9.49 to $14.85. Ford stock is down 13% over the last year.
